Gerard spent hours with the question, moments stolen from his commute, from games with his children, moments before sleep when he wasn’t alone in wanting sex. Without answers, he’d begun to wonder how he got anything done.

Lela, his wife, didn’t know. He couldn’t see involving her yet. He wished money didn’t matter, that his family would thrive with any answer, but once decided either way, control would be lost.
